What a Reading Guide Solves
Chinese web novels are long, and length changes how you should read them. Reverend Insanity is the clearest case: Wikipedia lists it as "2,334 chapters across six volumes", and one of those volumes, "Volume 5: Demon King Reigns Supreme (945 chapters)", is longer than the first three put together. Its WebNovel page shows it as "Completed", yet the story itself was never finished: "The published text stops immediately before its final battle, and no ending has ever been written".
