Lin Shen runs a claw-machine shop that sells creature eggs. He finds an egg covered in a mosaic only he can see, sleeps next to it, and wakes up with a "Fire Seed" ability in his head: one touch freezes a steel-bodied Iron Horned Beast. By the end of the chapter a second mosaic egg turns up in one of his own claw machines.

It's the Super Gene feeling of a lucky edge nobody else sees, applied to collecting creatures. We read only chapter 1, so we can't say how closely it ties to the first book. Its Webnovel rating is lower: 3.8 from 65 ratings, against 4.48 from 608 for Let Me Game in Peace (both as of October 29, 2026).
