Qidian Monthly Vote, October 2026: The Mirror Legacy Leads

The Qidian monthly vote for October 2026 is a September rematch, and the order has flipped. The Mirror Legacy (Xuan Jian Xian Zu, 玄鉴仙族) by Ji Yueren (季越人) is now first and Night Without End (Ye Wu Jiang, 夜无疆) by Chen Dong (辰东) second, the reverse of how they finished last month. Both have official English editions, so this is one Qidian race English readers can actually follow.

The Qidian Monthly Vote Lead Changes Hands

We've read Qidian's own board (月票榜) four times this month. Qidian draws its vote counts in a scrambled font, so each figure below was decoded from the saved page and checked against a screenshot of the same capture. Times are Vietnam time (UTC+7).

Up to October 21, Chen Dong's book was pulling away. In the week since, The Mirror Legacy picked up about 26,000 votes to Night Without End's 20,100, a swing of almost six thousand. Nobody else is close: third-placed Wu Dao! (武道！) sits about 28,500 votes behind second. Further down, the finished Lord of the Mysteries (诡秘之主) has climbed from twelfth on October 20 into tenth.

If you've been watching on DaoSearch, which mirrors Qidian's boards with English titles, its numbers run behind. On October 21 at 17:25 it showed 92.1k against 88.6k, marked "4h ago", below even our October 20 capture. On the morning of October 28 it already listed The Mirror Legacy first, yet still gave it 105.1k votes to Night Without End's 109.6k. For a live race, read Qidian itself.

September Says It Isn't Over

The same two books went one-two in September, and Night Without End won by a little under thirteen thousand votes. The last days of that month are the warning. In our September 28 capture, Wu Dao! was third; it added more than forty thousand votes before the board closed and still finished fourth. A late swing that size would wipe out today's lead several times over.

One trap if you follow the race and the translation together: the chapter numbers don't match. Qidian's latest Mirror Legacy update, on October 27, was chapter 1,639 of the raw, while Wuxiaworld lists 1,872 chapters. Webnovel lists 1,804 chapters of Night Without End against a latest raw chapter of 857. Fans trip on this too. When a reader posted a long review on r/MirrorLegacy, one reply asked: "Are you raw chapter 752 or wuxiaworld chapter 752?"

Our Read on the October Qidian Monthly Vote

The race is open. The Mirror Legacy has the lead and the momentum: it out-gained Night Without End by almost six thousand votes over the past week. But a lead of under a thousand votes is nothing against the late swings we saw in September, so either book can still take the month. If you're choosing one to read in English, the leader isn't automatically the pick. The Mirror Legacy is a family saga across generations; its first translator warned on the Wuxiaworld page that it "progresses slowly in the beginning". Night Without End is Chen Dong's new book, and Webnovel's page sells it on his name, listing Perfect World first among his earlier hits. Pick the family chronicle if you like watching a clan grow, and Chen Dong if you came for the author.
