Licensing & Rankings Desk
Ethan Mercer is the byline for NovelBrief's licensing, rankings and news coverage. The desk follows Webnovel.com, Wuxiaworld, Seven Seas Entertainment's announcements and Qidian's ranking pages. It leads with the number, then says what it means for an English reader, and it names the board and date range behind every ranking claim. Each article carries a source table that ties every number, date and quote to a page opened on the check date, and says what was not checked.
- Covers licensing announcements, translation status and chart moves
- Names the ranking board and date range behind every claim
